Morning View

The morning mist lay on the valley floor
as the sun warmed the hills around it
Little sparks of light twinkled along the edge
Commuters in their cars moving along the highway
Little sparks of energy off to keep the world humming along
All the while the sun, the mist, and I
languidly enjoying the moment
